Tabasco Brand Pepper Sauce marked its entry into the NASCAR Circuit on the occasion of NASCAR’s 50th Anniversary by creating a cookbook consisting of recipes submitted from drivers that included Tabasco Sauce in its ingredients list. My role included digital imaging, design, and print production.
Working directly with NASCAR and Tabasco, we designed and produced a ninety six page hardback cookbook published by Harper Collins.
Part of my role included digital imaging, which involved retouching and editing both photographs supplied by NASCAR, and photos of the recipes that were captured in-house by photographer, Stephen Hone.
I was also responsible for the design and production of the cookbook, making sure that the files supplied to the printer were press-ready, had accurate colors, proper pagination, and precise formatting.
Through my work on this project, I combined my skills in digital imaging, design, and pre-press production to create a cookbook that reflected the unique flavors of Tabasco and the spirit of NASCAR.
